Our client, a leading pharmacy in Baghdad, is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Accountant to join their team and play a vital role in managing financial operations and supporting the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records of all sales, purchases, and expenses.

Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Handle payroll, social security, and tax compliance requirements.

Manage supplier reconciliations and ensure timely payments.
- Oversee inventory accounting, cost control, and stock valuation.
- Use Gara accounting system to record and report all financial transactions.

Take full responsibility for the pharmacy app, including:
o Monitoring and reconciling app-based transactions with the accounting system.
o Ensuring accurate pricing, promotions, and product listings from an accounting perspective.
o Coordinating with technical/operations teams to resolve app-related issues.
o Generating and analyzing app-related financial reports.
o Ensuring smooth integration between the app and financial processes.
Qualifications

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, pharmacy, or FMCG sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and payroll processes.

Solid understanding of inventory management, supplier reconciliation, and app-based
financial operations.
