Our client who is a leading company in Dental And Medical solutions in Erbil, Is seeking a qualified Backend Developer to fill this position and play a vital role in the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) tests for all new code.
- Ensure code is secure, well-documented, and follows best practices (with formatters/linters).
- Implement and leverage CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient deployments.
- Proactively address application security with strong knowledge of the OWASP Top 10.
- Collaborate closely with frontend teams (Next.js/React and SvelteKit/Svelte)
- Perform minor maintenance and small documented changes to existing Laravel backend.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a backend or related technical role (e.g., Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer).
- Deep proficiency in at least one backend stack:
- Python (Django/Flask) – preferred, OR
- PHP (Laravel), Java (Spring Boot), C# (.NET Core), TypeScript (NestJS), Ruby (Rails).
- Strong knowledge of relational database design and management.
- Strong commitment to a test-first development approach.
- Experience with:
- Docker/Podman & Docker Compose
- AWS (SNS, SQS, S3)
- Git/GitHub workflows
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
- Strong sense of empathy, collaboration, and adaptability.
- Ability to work on-site.
